3. Deposit Money

In Malaysia using FPX transfer allows your money to reflect in your Luno instantly
Sign in to your Luno account on the web or mobile app, and follow these steps:
- Navigate to Wallets, and then select your MYR wallet
- Select DEPOSIT, and then from the options on the next screen, FPX instant transfer
- Enter the amount you wish to deposit, and select NEXT
- A pop-up will display with deposit instructions. Select the check-box to acknowledge that you’ll make a deposit from a bank account in your own personal name
- On the deposit via FPX screen, make sure the amount you wish to deposit is correct, and if you’re happy, select Continue to FPX
- You’ll be redirected to the FPX Online Banking page. Select your bank from the drop-down, and select Proceed
- Log in to your online banking
- Once you’re logged in, select the bank account that you wish to deposit from. Make sure the seller description is Luno Malaysia Sdn Bhd, and then select Request TAC or PAC Now
- Follow the prompts from there to complete your deposit

4. Buying Cryptocurrency
Now that your Luno account is funded, you can buy crypto by following these steps:
- Select Wallets from the menu
- Select the wallet for the crypto you want to buy (or Add a new wallet if you don’t see the one you want)
- In your crypto wallet, select BUY near the top of the screen
- Decide whether you want to make a Once-off purchase, or set up a Repeat buyIf you selected Once-off:
- Choose the currency you want to pay with (usually your local currency)
- Enter the amount you want to buy
- Select NEXT
- Review your transaction details, including the service charge fee, then select CONFIRM
If you selected Repeat buy:
- You’ll see a screen which briefly explains repeat buy. Select NEXT
- Enter the amount you want to buy
- Choose the Frequency and the Repeat date
- Select NEXT
- Then select CONFIRM if you’re happy with the transaction details
5. Selling Cryptocurrency
When you’re ready to sell your cryptocurrency (or crypto, for short), you can do it in a few simple steps.
- Select Wallets from the menu
- Select SELL
- Choose the crypto you want to sell
- Choose the currency (local currency or crypto) you want to sell for
- Enter the amount you want to sell
- Select NEXT
- Review the transaction details, including the service charge fee, then select CONFIRM if you’re happy
- If you’re using the Luno app, you’ll need to enter your Luno PIN to finalise the transaction
That’s it! You’ve sold some crypto.
